Discover The Wings of The Southern Tanzania

Day 1: Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport you will be met by your driver guide and transfer you to Holiday Inn / Mediteranneo Hotel for your overnight, bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel then depart from your hotel and drive to Mikumi National Park, you will arrive just in time for lunch. At about 1500hrs drive through the park for sunset game drive. Overnight at Mikumi Wildlife Lodge/ Public Campsite, full board.

Day 3: Early morning games drive in the park, and then return back to the lodge/camp for breakfast. With picnic lunch, drive to Iringa for a short visit to Ismila Pilars then proceed to Ruaha National Park for your overnight at Ruaha Hill Top Lodge / Public Camping Site, full board.

Note: Ruaha Hilltop lodge is located outside the Park.

Day 4: Drive to Ruaha National Park for the full day game drive enjoying the landscape of scenery of this unique National park, overnight at Ruaha River Lodge / Public Campsite, full board

Day 5: On this day you will be accompanied by an armed game ranger for morning walking safaris inside the park, return to the lodge/camp for breakfast and the rest of the morning will be set at your own leisure. At about 1530hrs drive through the park for evening game drive. Overnight at Ruaha River Lodge / Public Campsite, full board

Day 6: Breakfast at the lodge then drive to Morogoro for your overnight at New Acropol Hotel, the road between Iringa and Morogoro is one of the scene roads in the Southern part of Tanzania. Picnic lunch to be provided

Day 7: Drive to Selous Game Reserve via Morogoro – Kisaki road for your overnight, depending on your time of arrival you will depart for evening boat safaris along Rufiji River. Overnight at Kinga River Lodge / Public campsite, full board.

Day 8: Full day game drives exploring the biggest game reserve in Africa which has abundant Afrikan mammals. Your overnight stay will be at Kinga River Lodge / public campsite located right at the bank of the great Rufiji River, full board.

Day 9: Early morning walking safaris (1 – 2 hours) inside the reserve, you will be accompanied by an armed game ranger. Return back to the camp for breakfast and the rest of the morning will be set up at your own leisure. At 1500hrs drive to the reserve for sunset game drive. Overnight at Kinga River Lodge / Public Campsite, full board

Day 10: Breakfast at the camp, pack the vehicle and drive back to Dar es Salaam to catch your outbound flight or you will be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip to catch your flight for your extension to Zanzibar
