8 Days Discover Kilwa Historical Sites and Selous

Day 1: Pick up from the hotel and drive to the South Cost - Kilwa Historical site for your overnight at Kilwa Resort on full board. The drive from Dar es Salaam takes 6 to 7 hours depend on road conditions.

Day 3: Spend the whole at your own leisure at the Resort, full board. Activities like Diving, Snorkeling, and fishing can be arranged at the lodge directly. Overnight Kilwa Resort, full board

Day 4: Spend the whole at your own leisure at the Resort, full board. Activities like Diving, Snorkeling, and fishing can be arranged at the lodge directly. Overnight Kilwa Resort, full board

Day 5: Pack the car and back through Kibiti Village to Selous Game Reserve. Depend on the time of your arrival, evening sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River, Overnight at Mbega Camp, full board.

Selous Game Reserve - with an area of around 50,000sq km (5% of Tanzania's land surface) Selous game reserve is one of the large protected area in the world: its size is stunning, bigger than Switzerland or Denmark, uninhabited and little touched by human interference. Visitors therefore find themselves in a pristine wilderness far away from the trodden tourist routes. Its wildlife (including some few remaining Black rhinos and Wild dogs) are very spectacular.

Day 6: Breakfast at the camp then drive through the reserve for full day game viewing. Packed lunch will be provided. Overnight at Selous Mbega Camp, full board.

Day 7: On this day you will be accompanied with an armed ranger for the morning walking safaris inside the reserve. Hot lunch will be at the camp then at about 1600hrs you will depart for the evening game drive. Overnight at Mbega Camp, full board.

Day 8: Breakfast will be at the camp then drive back to Dar es Salaam via kibiti road to catch your last speed boat for Zanzibar or your outbound flight or your overnight in Dar es Salaam
