5 Days Discover Mikumi / Selous

Day 1: Depend on the time of your arrival in Dar es Salaam; you will be met by your driver guide and transfer you to Mikumi National Park for your afternoon game drive. Before the end of the day drive to Mikumi Wildlife Camp for your overnight. Lunch shall be provided

Day 2: Immediately after breakfast depart for half a day game drive in the park then to drive to Selous Game Reserve via Morogoro – Kisaki Road. Packed lunch will be provided. The road between Morongoro and Selous is one of the more scenic roads in the Southern Tanzania. Overnight at Sable Mountain Lodge, full board.

Day 3: Depart from the lodge and drive through the Reserve for full day game drive with picnic lunch. Proceed to Kinga River Lodge for your overnight, full board

Day 4: On this day you will be taken for boat safari (2-3hrs) along Rufiji River. This trip will bring you more close to aquatic animals. Hot lunch will be at the camp then at about 1500hrs depart for evening game drive in the Reserve. Overnight at Kinga River Lodge, full board.

Day 5: Accompanied by an armed ranger depart for early morning walking safaris (1 – 2 hours) inside the reserve, you driver will come to pick you at the agreed point then drive you back to the camp for breakfast. Drive back to Dar es Salaam to catch your outbound flight.
